He had been in the company of several (WATCH VIDEO) individuals after leaving home on January 11, 2025.
According to investigators, the group arrived at the club shortly before midnight. About an hour later, Fidel was seen outside with some of them, appearing heavily intoxicated and struggling to maintain balance.
He reportedly attempted to return inside but was stopped. At one point, he walked toward the wrong vehicle and tried to open it, suggesting confusion.
Minutes later, he was escorted back into the club, but the situation soon worsened. Footage indicates that he was later led out again, where he was physically assaulted by some of the people he was with.

Despite the apparent assault, Fidel remained on his feet, moving around the parking area in a disoriented state.
Witnesses in the footage include staff members, with one security guard seen pushing him to the ground, while another individual joined in the confrontation.
By around 1:50 am, he was directed out of the premises without assistance.
Nearly an hour later, members of the same group briefly returned outside, appearing to search for him before leaving the scene without success.
That was the last confirmed sighting of Fidel alive.
His body was later discovered in River Nyamasaria and identified at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.
A post mortem conducted by independent pathologists found that he died from lack of oxygen caused by external pressure, with multiple injuries noted on his body.
Experts ruled out drowning after confirming there was no water in his system.
Fidel, described by his family as disciplined and focused, was close to completing his degree.
