According to reports, construction workers unearthed the skull of a pig, a spiritual bottle, toys, and salt buried under the foundation and altar of the church after the building unexpectedly collapsed during renovation works.
In a viral video circulating on social media, eyewitnesses can be heard expressing disbelief as the items were retrieved from the site.
The discoveries, particularly the skull of the pig and bottle have raised questions about the motives and spiritual practices behind their placement.
Some residents alleged that the buried objects could have been part of ritual fortifications meant to attract membership, wealth, or divine protection for the church.
Others, however, believe they could have been remnants of traditional purification or protection rituals that might have been performed by the land’s previous occupants before the church was established.
Speaking to a local radio station, a self-proclaimed spiritual analyst explained that such items are often associated with “spiritual empowerment” rituals, where certain objects are buried under altars or entrances to “seal” the ground and invoke supernatural favour.
“Some pastors are introduced to occult practices disguised as ‘divine directions’. They bury bottles, animal parts, and salt to tie the destiny of the congregation to the altar spiritually,” the analyst said.…READ / MORE…
